EarthPro-AmphibiGold is a wholly natural, totally reformulated, wild-like small-pellet diet for amphibians, including axolotls, clawed frogs, newts, and salamanders.
This easy-to-feed diet is made from a wealth of all-natural ingredients, including more than 60% invertebrate and fish protein from freshwater fish, earthworms, snails, bloodworms, brine shrimp, Daphnia, plants, and a natural probiotic. Feeding these animals on water or land has never been so easy. This really is the ‘gold’ standard in pelleted amphibian food.
EarthPro-AmphibiGold not only seeks to replicate the food items commonly found in the wild, but also contains essential vitamins A and D3 from a natural fish source. So, without using synthetics, we can provide these vital nutrients in one of the ways this group of animals obtains them in the wild.
You will be amazed at how quickly amphibians learn to recognize their food and rush over to feed. Axolotls in particular will snatch up the pellets as they are added to the water. Your pet will then hunt down any uneaten pellets. This food therefore provides enrichment by encouraging your animals to use wild-like behaviors and their sophisticated sensory systems. We have also seen great success when EarthPro-AmphibiGold is offered to milk frog tadpoles.
